COME ON OVER TO OUR HOUSE!

A hidden gem in the heart of scenic Barryvale,
the Highlands Social House
serves the area’s best upscale, downhome cuisine.

Take in the spectacular view of Calabogie Lake and the surrounding peaks from our covered patio or through the wraparound windows in our cozy bar and restaurant.

We’re open for lunch and dinner seven days a week,

offering everything from our signature brie and bacon burger to prime rib specials, Newfoundland-style crusted cod,
and creamy seafood chowder.

We’re on the K&P Trail, minutes from downtown Calabogie and the motorsport track, and seconds from the golf course.
See you at the Social!

Hungry?

Boy oh boy, do we have a treat for you!

Our lunch and dinner menu is heavy on house-made dishes – like our crispy, flavourful egg rolls (which sell out as fast as we can make them); our rib-eye beef dip au jus topped with sharp, melted cheddar; and our juicy grilled chicken and bacon club drizzled with homemade maple aioli.

We also offer plenty of vegetarian options, from black bean burgers to pastas and salads.

Check out our daily specials for details on Social Sundays, Thumbs Up Thursdays and more!

Meet Chef Lucas

He’s a rolling stone, an artist, and a scientist.

He travelled across Canada for 25 years, learning from chefs in dozens of restaurants – from Vancouver, B.C., to St. John’s, Newfoundland – to become one of the best himself. He’s Chef Lucas, the wizard of the Social House kitchen; a man who once spent an entire year perfecting salad dressings (you’ll be amazed) and who many say makes the best burger they’ve

ever tasted. What makes him tick? “I love serving people great food – experimenting and building layers of flavour that will blow them away,” says the Ottawa Valley native, who is known for his flair with food. Chef Lucas describes his style as homestyle cooking with an upscale twist. His philosophy? “It takes time to make things from scratch, but it’s worth it.”
